We have the same madness on Boxing Day (the day after Christmas) and it is a good day to hide at home and watch the cricket or the Sydney to Hobart yacht race on TV. The same junk (stuff) is still on sale to the end of January anyway.

Cheques have almost disappeared in Australia. I think I might write one or two a year if that. I think they are still used a lot in the U.S.

Can you identify cars from the 50's?

I only got 60%. I guess I've been out of the States too long i.e. 50 years. Like most of you I grew up with these. I guess I've been around too many Australian Holdens and Ford Falcons. My only Falcon was a dud, however!
