150,000 is about right for most Nikon DSLR cameras. For the D500 Nikon say 200,000 and the D5 I think is 250,000. Normally the shutter and mirror are replaced at the same time. I had that done on a D300 twice and each time the shutter count was less than 150,000 - from memory I believe my D300 reached into the high 130,000 range for the repairs. Also a D7000 where the shutter count was in the low 140,000's. Yes the price was around $300 for both my cameras. The sensor is not changed and would be very much more if it was. The shutter and mirror are the parts that move and wear out. After the repairs the shutter count was not reset to zero.

i have a D750 with over 150.000 counts , two days ago i noticed taking a picture a little black triangle in the low corner of the screen , technician said that i have to change the shutter and it is normal after this amount of counts , as far as i know should be normal to change the sensor and not the shutter , he said that the tent of the shutter is broken and it has to be changed , cost of the operation $300 plus taxes .
what do you think about , this does happen normally or not , thanks for you time
