I am just wondering your opinion on the Creative Cloud for us Photoshop users. Personally I can't see paying a monthly fee to have constant upgrades. I am quite upset with Adobe does anyone else agree or is this just the way it is. I usually upgrade Photoshop every two years at $199.00 by now if I want any new upgrades it will cost me $480.00 every two years, without ever owning the product. P.S. At least with a cell phone plan you own the phone after a two or three year contract. Why would I pay Adobe for three years monthly fees and walk away with nothing when it comes to software. I would appreciate any thoughts on the matter.

I like the action of the last one, although the first is very sharp.

What software did you use to achieve such beautiful black and whites? I do love the photo, you should be proud of it.

Took this shot beside a large window in the late afternoon. I wanted to test my new method of water drops by mixing glycerine with equal parts water for a more stable water drop. I use a Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro lens with a full sensor body. I am quite pleased with the way the water drops held there stability. I got the lily from Safeway for 3 bucks, can't beat that!

Nice closeup, but is that bee alive?

No my cat killed it, and decided to take advantage of the free shot.

Do you mean foreground photo?

Yes I do, thank you for the correction. It is so confusing dealing with layers yet alone life.

I'm getting into nightime long exposure photography. Capturing foreground with flashlight for a few seconds then the remaining shutter time (approx 25 seconds ISO 3200 with apeture 2.8) to capture stars in the back ground. First attempts failed with too much noise. I had NR off. I plan on another attempt this weekend. Obviously with NR on. Any advice beyond this would be appreciated. I am shooting a 14mm 2.8 for a lens.

Good question, my only advice for you would be to take the background photo first with flash, then do your long exposure of the stars for the second shot, using a tripod for both. Lower your ISO and blend the two shots together in Photoshop.

Don't you have a backup camera to get a shot of him taking photos? ;)
Excellent portrait! Think it must be his best side! :?:

My back up Canon 30D was in the basement, and he was turning around in shame from his theft as I got my last shot in.

Heheheh, I was wondering the same thing ;)

After I retrieved my camera, I was able to take this shot, at least he was nice enough to hang around. Thanks for the reply.

Let me know how you go with the editing...love the rabbit photo...

Thanks for the reply, I use Photoshop for my editing. This time I tried using the channel mixer instead of the black and white adjustment layer. I think that I am more pleased with the results from this photo.
