Graham, very nice series and was that your daughter on the bike? Looks like you had a great trip. When I was there never did see that candy shop and that may be a good thing. Carole

These images are from the Wrangell-Stikine river area. As far as I know the town of Wrangell is only visited by the Norwegian Cruise Line, too bad as it is, for me anyway, more interesting and scenic as other over run tourist ports. Not many T-Shirt shops around here, the main attraction here is the Stikine River and the Tongass forest. John Muir called the Stikine river area the Grand Canyon of Alaska. If you ever get there I highly recommend the Jet River tours up the river, itÂ’s a bit pricey but well worth it. I was just unlucky that both times I went the weather was not cooperating as you can see in the pictures. Rain is about a daily occurrence. Hope you don't get tired of all the pictures but I didn't want to post them in sections.

Thank you very much Carole, there will be more as I found more. Remember my Granddaughter the Artist? She will be 16 on Saturday and I bought here the Faber 120 color pencil set, she is going to be drilled.

So Mike how did you granddaughter react to her new Faber color pencil set on her birthday?

This is another shot from red bird farm. I used my flw filter for this shot. This is my favorite filter for making some shots a little more dramatic. Ever since I saw bryan Peterson showcase this filter on Adorama TV I had to have this. What do you think?

Beautiful capture, love the colors

I saw this guy on my ride home from the vets zig zagging along the highway in NH and off into the tree line. I posted the photos to a dog recovery site. They got back to me saying a coyote expert looked at the photo & said he was a wolf.

I included a photo from the internet of a Black Canadian Timber Wolf whom looks almost identical

Beautiful animal and looks like he has his winter coat on.

At the edge of the Yakima River yesterday morning.

Canon T3i, Sigma 18-250 mm (loving the lens!). Shot in raw, edits included Topaz Detail.

ISO 400, f/9, handheld.

Thanks for viewing :)

Love the way ice makes some really interesting shapes and textures. Very nicely captured. I prefer the warmth of the FL sun, today is not so warm but the sun surely is.

Took this in natural light during the golden hour. I have been working on my flash/ambient mix skills but this munchkin wanted nothing to do with sitting or staying in one place. So, luckily it was the golden hour and the light was just beautiful. I bumped up the iso and followed her and hopefully it was worth my efforts. I did pp in lightroom to get the noise out and then I did play in photoshop a bit because I am currently learning how to use the program. Thank you for looking!

Alissa, she is adorable and great photo work.

Last weekend my wife and I went to the Reese Strong car show. The Reese Strong benefit was to support the cure for child hood cancer. As we all know car shows present many photo opps. One of our local radio stations was there this is the station I listen to all the time. Classic rock 96.5 wklr. I met two of the dj's we got talking and they asked me to send some photos if I would.I sent 7 photos to them expecting nothing. I gave them one of my cards at the car show. On wednesday I get a phone call from their program director and their sales manager. Thanking me for sending the shots to Sam and Mason the dj's. They also asked me to come in and meet with them this sunday because of my schedule this is the only day I would be able to do it. They agreed. They said there is a potential for shooting events for the radio station. I am very excited for this oppertunity. I had to share this with all my friends on uhh.
