Hi Pizza Day, if you intend the hood to be used mainly or solely on the M3 you need the vented hood in order to not obscure VF/Rangefinder. Wish i'd never parted with mine.Enjoy !

Hi Digory, sorry wasn't implying that all the signs were ancient lookalikes; just the ones with WD markings !!
Would love to see others
best wishes

Hi Digory, nice set but No.1 not ancient or by dyslexic stonemason its a concrete military milestone from WW2 era with War Department arrow. The odd lettering was to confuse the German military in the event of invasion as all the usual direction signage was removed during WW2 to the same end.
Thanks for sharing, oh and thanks for the heads up on last weeks Spitfire picture

Hi Digory, interesting Spitfire, if it was a replica made for The Battle of Britain film it would indeed have carried a three blade prop. As well as sporting a later four blade prop. she is also marked with underwing Invasion Markings in black and white, these were not painted on until 48 hrs prior to the Normandy landings on June 6th 1944. Which makes me wonder if she might also have featured in the film The Longest Day. Pity you were unable to get a profile shot of her fuselage markings, which might have given more clues if authentic. Nice shot anyway. Thanks for sharing.

Hi, Citroen Light Fifteen, looks like 1930s model. One of the earliest front wheel drive production cars in Europe.
Plenty on Google

Absolutely brilliant Jerry. Now for your next project some of us would like to see a state of the art 50 megapixel DSLR created from some old light fittings, you may use incandescents or fluorescents or any combination thereof, please supply circuit diagrams and scale drawings so that we may all join in if successful.!!!!

A couple of years ago, I bought some old cameras on ebay with the intention of making them into a lamp. I finally got one finished. I wanted unusual cameras, so for this lamp I got an Argus C3, also known as the brick. This was the largest-selling 35mm camera for many years. Then I got a Zeiss Icon SLR, and finally a Russian TLR , special Olympics commemorative model.

I got a nice piece of oak, routed the edges, and drilled holes for 1/4" X 20 mounting bolts. I mounted the Russian TLR on a mini tripod, with holed drilled for the legs and JB Weld holding them in place.

I wanted something different for the lighting, so I put one or more little blue LEDs into each camera - shining out through the lenses. So, I have two plugs for this lamp - one for the LEDs and one for the main bulb. Both are plugged into the old computer control console I have on my desk. I can switch on the LEDs and main bulb independently.

The actual lamp in the rear is one I had around the house.

Before I make another lamp with the remaining old cameras, I want to see if I can make a more appropriate shade - something with photos on it.

Pictures are posted in the Photo Gallery.

Hi Jerry, socket looks like a "mini DIN", widely used in U.K. and Europe in various pin configurations in the audio and amateur radio fraternity. Try a GOOGLE for DIN plugs and sockets.
If your Wallwart is 12volt and has sufficient amperage output wire neg- line to both grounds . Pos + to 12v + and in parallel to 5v + through a wire wound voltage resister. If you know any local amateur radio guys i'm sure they would help. good luck.ian

Hi, i had this problem also with PSE 10 earlier this year.

The problem was not with an earlier Adobe program but a program that shares a common script or "technology" in my case it was ACDSEE PRO 4 . If you have this program or earlier version you may have success as i did by uninstalling ACDSEE, install PSE10, then reinstall ACDSEE. This solved it for me . good luck ian
