I’ve rarely met any swan that was anything other than uncooperative... it’s their natural state. If you think swans are uncooperative to humans... you should see how they behave around Canada geese... 👹
I waited around for over an hour for this trumpeter swan to DO something but I ended up being satisfied with a bird in a deep state of rest and wariness (check out the eye). Shot taken in the north woods of Wisconsin, Manitowish River. Try the download to get a better look at its gorgeous plumage.
Not on your topic, but I have the 70D. Is the 80d in your opinion worth upgrading to?
I have no experience with the 70D. I upgraded from the 60D and it was definitely the right thing to do. There are several videos on YouTube that address your issue.
Well I'll be !!!! A simple twist of the lens hood did, in fact, solve the problem. Soooooo glad it was nothing technical that I wouldn't understand !! Thank you so much.
I took out my new Canon 80D today with a Tamron 18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 lens attached. Why did I get these black areas in the corners of the photo. This has never happened with this lens before.
This is the one I use with my Sigma 100-600....works well. Movo GH800 Carbon Fiber Professional Gimbal Tripod Head with Arca-Swiss Quick-Release Plate by Movo
Wild turkeys have been hanging around my yard recently taking advantage of the seed under my bird feeders. They are really magnificent creatures when you get a good look at them.
Many evenings I will take my little pontoon boat out on our lake for some fishing, wildlife observation, listening, and deep appreciation of the magnificent northwoods where I am privileged to live. Of course, I always have at least one camera with me.
