[quote=Racmanaz]Weight is a valid issue for lots of people, it's not moaning it's a reality. Not sure equating a BIG car is a valid point, nobody has to carry a car on their shoulders like you do with a big heavy camera. :)[/quote
A big heavy camera what are you lot wimps im 72 and not in the best of health. I bought a dslr for the the quality i see no reason to change nor does my wife.
So many people moan about the weight of the dslr well i wouldn't change, i bought it because it is good, better than a point and shoot and better than a bridge, I just wonder how many of the "its too heavy" moaners drive a big car that is more awkward to park than a mini or is more expensive to run i have owned both and never mind the parking or the cost of fuel i will never go back to a small car or a small camera just because its to heavy.
PCs seem to come with a 2TB drive, and I always add another drive for data. I used to add a 1TB, but now I'd get 4TB. Do the Mac 21 and 27 allow for two hard drives? Mine have just the one.
And according to testing, Apple users are smarter than Windows users. That's why I have both. After spending so much time on UHH, I got smart enough to know that I should buy a Mac. :D

I also know that i should get a Mac but cant afford it, the way people hoard their photos by the time they die they will have simply loads and loads and who is going to bother with them????
I answered on the first page and since then i have been diagnosed with terminal cancer, now until the day comes I get out when i can and my wife has also joined me, I am sad that many of the targets i set myself i will never fulfill, like capture all GB butterfly species or be able to recognise as many species of gull as i see,or even take a photograph that i consider a wall hanger, I am thankful for photography for making me realise what a wonderful world we live in and until my day arrives me and my camera will be clicking away.
I have an alpha a57 with an evf and i dont find it to difficult to get bif. I use f8 and iso 800, I find swans herons and geese pretty straight forward ducks on the other hand are a lot harder.
I see a subject i take a photograph and so on, I get home i download the photographs and they are just as i remember them i usually crop to bring them closer and that is it, so to those who say what i see is not what i get, I would suggest a new camera.
I have no interest in firearms but enjoyed this discussion on the guns people fire and what they would like to fire, it as taken an age to realise S&W means Smith and Wesson, would love to live in a place like yours it sounds idyllic, keep up the good gun talk.
Thank you Doug! My first one this year.:) And I had to drive to Ann Arbor MI to get it.:) I will put this in my Butterfly file. Erv
At this time of year butterflies and moths are my main targets so you can see why i envy you your many species, love your photographs very nice indeed.
