We used to make kaleidoscopes with glass. Very interesting math involved. Most think of th e kaleidoscope dating back to Sir George Brewster in the mid-eighteen hundreds. Actually they go back to the early Egyptians who used them in divination rites.
Am I missing something? All of the deals I've seen on the Canon 80D have either been the 18-135 lens or a pair of lenses -- 18-55 and 55-250? Have not seen anything combining the 18-135 with the 55-250.
Like you I punched my "Spotmatic" ticket while on liberty in Hong Kong. Great camera and I still use the f1.4 on my DSLR. Good lens and still just as fast as when I got it in '66.
KEH under promises and over produces. Recently purchased a used 60mm Canon macro lens that was offered at a very good price. They delivered it earlier than promised, included a Canon lens hood, and provided a 1 year warranty. It took both my spouse and I two days to find the evidence that it was used -- a very tiny and faint scratch on the lens hood.
Ordered a USED Canon EFS 60mm Macro lens from KEH via Amazon.com. What a deal! The lens just arrived (a day early!) and both my wife and I have gone over it and cannot find one sign that it is a used lens. It is absolutely pristine! Not only was the price excellent it included a Canon lens hood and free shipping.
I had a chance to try one of these lenses last year and loved it. Been on the prowl ever since. It is a great lens for product pictures which is just we need for our online Etsy shop.
Put me down on the list of satisfied KEH customers. As has been noted on here before, they under promise and over perform.
#2 is a very nice photograph that features an interesting rock. And that is what I look at when I view this picture.
But #1 -- WOW! It pulls me right into it and carries me into an adventure at sea. Don't know if it tells a story itself but it sure makes it easy for the viewer to create one for themselves.
