It looks like he might in a couple of years ... if he lives that long. That is why Conn. has a very restrictive DL for young drivers.

Well we have good restrictions on young drivers in Rhode Island also, but I can tell you that according to all my family members who are first responders.....sadly 'stupid is as stupid does' still applies wether they're riding a bike or driving a car. :-(

I saw a teenager a few weeks ago riding his bicycle on a heavily used road near Bradley Airport. This was about lunch time and the area has a myriad of restaurants and motels on both sides. It is down right dangerous for motorists to exit these establishments at this time. There are no side walks to speak of and the shoulder in some places is only eighteen inches wide. Now picture this ... Here is this stupid kid riding his bike against the traffic. no hands, lookind down texting on his cell phone!!

Any comments?

Thanks so much cmc65, so glad you enjoyed, really appreciate your looking and kind comment. These were taken with a Canon T2i, canon 70-210mm USM lens with a tamron 1.4x. The lens is at least 10-15 years old, but still does a good job, the only drawback is I have to find ways to get closer to the birds. Thanks again

Is it wise to stand in the swamps of the everglades with a lens that's on the 'short' end?

As a weather front came through late this afternoon I became aware that the light through the glass doors suddenly looked decidedly strange and unusual. As it turned out it didn't last long and I am glad I grabbed a camera without delay.

Just beautiful. Mother Nature at her finest...
