Small sensor will not be able to get the blur affect that you can get with a DSLR

The color will be different on each lens shutter speed might stay the same if the same F stop is chosen

I have the K-x and the K-5 the higher quality screen that is on the K-r and the K-5 makes a big difference. The focus points not be visible did not bother me I keep mine on center 95 percent of the time. The K-x takes great pics though that is one thing you would not be disappointed about with either the K-x or the K-r.

Actually the Pentax K-5 that has a crop sensor beat the 5D Mark ii and the 7D and the Nikon D7000 on DxOMARK in overall performance and Landscape and tied in Portrait Color Depth so not all crop sensors are inferior to FF.

K-r does have live view and yes you can use any lens that was made for Pentax you can also set the green button instead of manually setting everything I used a K-x up until last week when I got the K-5 I have a few old m lenes that I use regularly and they do great.

Good eye for composition and light. I really like how you capture light and shadows playing together in your photos. in the last photo the twiggy tree was distracting. Only my opinion. Good job

That twig has been driving me crazy too but was no other place to get the shot I wanted might try to remove with post processing

I just got my K-5 last week and so far it is amazing the high ISO performance makes up for the lack of lens speed after the first of the year getting the 70-200mm F2.8 but for now the lens I have are working great.
This is my 3rd Pentax DSLR started with the K-m then the K-x now the K-5 and have been highly satisfied with all and still own all 3.

Just playing with the new K-5

These are nice. Let me know how you like your K5 if you don't mind as I'm looking to upgrade K10D.
