I have cs5 and you go can do HDR but photomatix gives a forever free trial with watermarks and the cool thing is you can process a single photo

Go to costco and let them print it
I believe it has to be converted to 8 bit
It's been a while you can do it in photoshop, they auto enhance it
Try two small prints firstone enhanced and unenhanced and while your at it try gloss and regular
Good prints and good prices
Dont like it they wont charge you
In an hour My professional photographer teacher at the college goes there
Take a flashdrive with different bit on it to see which ones it does if it wont read it it wont do it
Thats just for Raw im sure they will do all jpegs
Really large sizes you will have to do somewhere else
They also do pics on canvas now like an oil painying look

I use a grey card
I take a picture of the grey card and then shoot the shots in the same light
Then edit them I use the grey card photo to apply the white balance to all photos in that series
If you change the light during that shoot you shoot the grey card sometime during that series and apply that shot to that series
especially helpful if you are shooting a lot of shots in the same light
Really not hard to apply white balance to all the shots
I use photoshop CS5

Is your camera set to AV apatite priority
If it is it will allow the camera to pick the shutter speed
