I have never entered a weekly contest before or uploaded any images before. That said, I attempted to upload an entry for WET. I could find no place ( could be eyesight ) to add a description and when I hit the upload button I was informed that it could not be accepted , that only one submission per week was allowed. Would appreciate any tips on what to do. Thanks!

I have Western Digital 1T external and a Seagate 2T. Both are easy to set up and small enough to pack up and go. Won't go in your pocket but not big. I travel with them in their original packaging. I try to keep a backup of all my photos on each in case one of them fails. When i fill up the 1T drive I'll get another. Both connect by USB . Hope that helps.

The security guarding the Alamo will not allow professional photography without a permit. I was questioned once while setting up my tripod in front of the Alamo. When I said I was not a professional they said ok and left me alone.
As someone above noted, the missions south of San Antonio are great, you should have no problem shooting exteriors before business hours.
Have fun, it is one of my favorite places to photograph.

I believe Nik's Silver Efex Pro 2 plugs into Elements. Awesome black and white conversion program which allows for many sepia options.

I have been asked by a friend to restore an old photo. I haven't done this for several years. Are there any good tutorials out there?

Thanks!

When you DO get to the cataract stage, and I am quite serious, the doctor will give you new "internal" lenses corrected to your eyesight. It's very cool, I had it done and only need glasses for close up stuff, not for photography in the field.

Talk to your eye doctor about the possiblility of contact lens. I have found that using them I can see everything I need to see but still have to use reading glasses. The point is that they may be able to give you enough help to get you back to where you were say 10 years ago. Just talk to your doctor about the possibilities. I was amazed at the options that were out there.
