Thank you. I was just lucky that he/she stayed in one spot long enough for me to get focused and take a few shots. Usually these birds don't stay in one place very long.
All of today's photos are great.
Black-Crested Titmouse
Welcome to UHH. Nice shot of a titmouse. This bird just doesn't like to stay still for long. My hands shake so I use a sturdy tripod and a remote control to take pictures when I don't have something to brace my camera. I look for places the birds prefer to land and point the camera there and just wait for them to land-then hit the remote. Many times I set the camera to take a sequence of photos to assure I get a decent shot.
First Robins of Spring. Taken today the birdbath.
First Robins of Spring?
How do you get them to stay still long enough to focus? These were taken yesterday in my yard.

Woodpeckers are entertaining birds to watch. I have two pairs of Ladderbacks and one pair of Golden Fronted that come to my feeders.
Ladderback Under a Tree Branch
You are right. He was getting ready to attack one of my bird feeders.
I have been "taking pictures" since the 50's. Now have a Nikon D5100 and want to become at least a moderately skilled photographer. UHH appears to be a good place for assistance in this endeavor.
