Just wondering how others feel about this type of photo, where the background is blacked out, you don't need a long answer unless you want just a quick yes or no would be fine? Thank you for your time and comments!

A male Eastern Bluebird teaching a fledging the ways of life!!!
I don't know why maybe you can see it also. When it comes to photography, I think I am my own worst critic. I am never happy with my work and always strive to do better. So this is a re-edited shot of a Great Blue Heron... PS I still think I could do better!!!
One of my favorite pictures of a male Baltimore Oriole and a male Gold Finch taking a bath on a hot day...All pictures were taken in Ct. With a Canon 7D MK II and Canon EF 100 to 400 II More Ct. wildlife images https://www.flickr.com/photos/136904201@N08/
I have a small stream in my yard and I watch and photograph all sorts of birds bathing but Goldfinches by far spend the most time in the water.
Have been lucky enough to have a couple pair Rose-breasted Grossbeaks this year at my feeders. It is not unusual to see them occasionally but this year is a bonus.
I shot this Hawk through the window glass, as it was raiding my bird feeders and not for the seed. I think it's a juvenile Coopers but I have a hard time IDing Accipiters. Maybe someone else may be able to verify this one. Thanks for watching!!!

Thanks for asking, here are a couple more of a very fortuitous capture. The duck shook it off and swam away!

Underneath this Cooper's Hawk is a Ringed-neck Duck holding its breath. The duck survived!!
Lightroom won't open all of a sudden, has anyone ever had the same problem and possible fix? Thank you ahead of time for your kind advice!!!
I thought I would try something a little different, this Osprey was edited in two completely different looks. I would love to get thoughtful insight on these images. Thanks ahead for your thoughts I appreciate it...

Great shot, very sharp but (there is always a but ) I am not an expert but I think it may be a juvenile Yellow-crowned Night Heron...Nice capture!!!
