more on D40 vs D5100 image sharpness

I love my D40, it was given to me 12/2008 after being told I had cancer, while I am not a professional I take a lot of pictures and for the most part they are great, only problem is with operator. Maybe one I day I can justify moving on up, but for now cannot say enough good abt the D40.

North Carolina coast fishing

Morehead City, NC would be a good place to try. Check the web for a web page to see if there is any info there. We have watched boats coming and going from the dock areas.

Glad to see these tips on shooting fireworks, going to give it a try this year.

Also had a question, am trying to learn how use the overlay feature on my Nikon D40 anyone had experience with using this feature, manual is very confusing.

Momma Cardinal posing

Thanks for tip I will have to try that. At some point time sooner rather than later my husband has promised to put his pop up turkey blind so I can get some shots.

Thanks Sallywho! ... one trick that I use is to "arrange" some fallen branches close to our feeders and then smear some peanut butter at various places on the branches.
