I have thousands of photos I have taken of the family and other things through the years. I have a lot of hard copy photos but they are not going anywhere. But I have a lot of digital files that I need to organize. I have setup a directory tree on multiple hard drives where I want to store the photos. I want to store them by the date they were taken. My question. Is there a way that I can get the date out of the picture files so I can quickly send them to their respective date in my system? It needs to be quick and easy. I will worry about editing the photos later but want to get them organized and backed up first. Thanks Allen
Good shot. She is a cutie for sure. Your to be commended for getting a rescue dog...they can be the best of pets. I bet she will come to your rescue in a snap if needed.
These things are invading my place. I think they are cool. I know it can be done, but I would like to learn how to get rid of the concrete under the bug. Using Aftershot Pro 3 I'm thinking it has to do with layers...but not sure. Allen
I have never made a wall print before so I'm curious: What is the LARGEST size of any decent quality can I make with my D3400 and the kit lens: 18-55mm VR f/3.5-5.6G VR .... 70-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED Zoom Lens
I'm thinking about a portrait of the family. I'm sure the above lens are somewhat limiting....but thats why i'm asking.
Great shots. They are hard to get close to. I have tried to stand camera ready on the position they just left, and sometime they will come right back to that spot. Not always, but it worked for me in my front yard.
I guess it's time to get a speedlite for my D3400. Nikon flash units are a bit pricey. I saw this one with pretty good reviews. http://amzn.to/2iYHvK7 You guys are in the know. Comments or suggestions are welcome. I'm willing to spend a little more if need be. Allen
