I have the canon 7d and I am looking to purchase the Canon 100 macro. I am trying to decide between the 100L and non L. Is there anyone who have used both and what are your recommendations? I will be using mainly handheld. Is the extra money for the IS worth it?
Thank you for any help.
SharpShooter why would you turn live view off? I leave mine on so that the mirror will be locked up and have less vibration. Thanks
I agree with everyone that the first thing you should is read your manual. But to get the 8FPS make sure you have a fast card and use the Back Button Focus. You can find all of this in your manual. Also check out You-Tube. The 7D is a great camera.
Thanks for all of the help. The A-Z Sort corrected the problem.
I am looking at the time the picture was taken. This is mainly for HDR so I need them in order.
They have the numbers in order but when you look at the information of the individual photo (time taken) then they are out of order. If you eject the card and then bring it back into LR will it begin where you stopped before?
Thanks
When I import my photos from my camera they are not in the same order as I took them. Is there a way to correct this? Thank you for your help.
I have found that if you have live view it is also good to use it for moon shots. Also use manual focus with camera on a tripod and cable release. What ever you can do to keep your camera from moving.
Aperture= F-11
Shutter Speed= 125
ISO= 100
Have a great day.
In taking this shoot of the moon the settings are:
ISO 100
f 11
SS 1/125
I use it as a plug-in with LR4. I do not know if it will stand alone. Probably can go to their website and find out.
You could try Nik EFEX Pro 2. You can go to their website and down load a 15 day free trial version.
I have seen several prints on metal and they look great. I just ordered my first print from Imagewizards. If you go to their web site you can order a sample package of their products.
