I just had the same problem and used Electronic Cleaner (less than $6 a pressure can) on both ends of my DVI monitor cable. Everything is back to normal.

I'm a volunteer within an over 55 years old RV park that keeps the telephone, TV, and Internet running for each of the 284 member sites. In over six years of serving on this committee more than 1/2 of the problems are solved with the CRC (brand) cleaner.

Now why didn't I think of that before I started searching for help with my problem (pixelation of the small print on my 1080P monitor?! This forum have me the 'push'. Thanks.

See if you like my cropping of your second photo. I tried to use an 'old standard' "Rule of Thirds". I also like the single THREE items (mail box, bike, and flag).
