I liked it as well. I prefer it on biscuits buy toast is ok.
I joined the USMC in 1955 and on my first trip to the mess hall I was confronted by a sign that said "Take all you want but eat all you take". I
adopted the same rule for my family and also taught that Mother organized, prepared, and served all the meals in our home with love and the rare complaint got a stern look from me and that's all it took. I learned that from my Father who actually grew much of what we ate on our family farm.
I had the surgery 3 months ago and the the whole world looks better. better focus, more light, whiter light, and better balance since I can see
better. By the way I'm 80.
My grandson said 1932 but I thought he was mistaken regarding the sign thus maybe the year. He says no it was 1932 and the name Hoover
appeared on the sign. Thanks.

My information was that is was the 1932 election. I will be able to check on that in a couple hours when my grandson gets home from work.

I'm trying to locate a photo from the great depression era of a hitchhiker holding a sign that reads: "If you don't give me a ride, I'll vote for
Hoover."

I have used many brands and find Canon to be very good.
I see some say that Canon uses a lot of ink.I have not had that experience. I have never paid more than $100.00 for a Canon and have been quite satisfied. I'm sure others have had good experinces with other brands but every time I try any competitor I'm disappointed.

As a counterpoint to this experience, I once arrived at a military base in Delaware direct from overseas (1959). I
didn't want to be in Delaware, I wanted to be home. We were not allowed to leave the base since we did not have the proper uniforms. Several of my buddies and I wandered
around for a day or two and then decided we were Marines
and we were going out the main gate anyway. A short way out the gate was a hotdog stand. A real hotdog sounded good and I stepped up to be waited on and the guy snarled
"yeah" and I could have hugged him, I knew I was home.
I have been involved with photography since 1954 when I took a class in high school.
We used the school 4x5 camera and took pics and then developed them, enlarged,printed them,
and otherwise learned the technique. I am a picture taker, not a photographer, nor an artist.
I do however take a lot of shots. I would like to learn more on composition, and use of light. I want to learn about adjustments after theshot also.
I do it but I don't always know what I'm doing.
In other words I have forgotten most everything I once knew and am starting over.
