That's true. You may be able to avoid panning, but then the fence will get on the way. However, you don't want to sit on the bleachers if you are planning to take those pictures. You may be dissapointed if where you sit is obstructed by the fence and whatever is close to it. If you sit higher it may work, but I am not sure if you can pick the precise place you will be at.

I found the best place is by turn three, on the grass. You will get a much cleaner photo. Get there by 6:00am to set shop for the 11:00am race. Or if you don't like crowds like me, just go to the practices that start two weeks before the race and you can move around all you want.

If you have one baby you can rent a double stroller and carry the camera bag on the other seat. Take it from personal experience. After all, the bag is your baby too.

I had mine done in Zazzle.com. They are more expensive, but there have many more options -depending how fancy you want to get. One way to save money is to design your card as you like and save it in your account. Then about once a month they have a time when they give a 60% discount. And at that time you order your cards.

To sync drives and add only the new files to the backups I use MOBZync (http://www.mobzystems.com/). It works on two folders though (although in different drives), but I keep all my photos under one main folder and many subfolders.
