"Finding Vivian Maier" is now on Netflix. I started watching it last night, and it's amazing. The man who bought the first box of her negatives just wanted historical images for a paper he was writing for school. He eventually accumulated everything he could. There are hundreds of rolls of undeveloped film and thousands of negatives. Fascinating film.
saw it last year on kvie!! great show!!

I have both these items, bought them last year and have been in my pelican case, quite frankly this equipment is above my pay grade!! I am not doing portraits , and my in camera meter seems to be enough
meter was $389. and the 5 degree viewfinder attachment was $109, {see links}
I will sell you the light meter for $350.00 BUT throw in the 5 degree view finder for free, and I will pay shipping in the continental US,
I have the box, instructions and the CD that came with it

Looking to buy a reasonably priced light meter. If you have one in your kit you do not use and wish to part with it PM me with the details. I have and continue to look on ebay and all of the used equip sites. I know reasonably priced is relative so be gentle.
Thanks

My remarks were not specifically about your post but about anyone that intentionally undermines a seller. I have had it happen to me and I have seen it happen often to others. I feel strongly that members should be able to post their items for sale without potential buyers being helpfully pointed in another direction. Many sellers will negotiate their price with an interested party. If there is more to be said we should take this discussion to another area so maybe this seller can get on with his sale.

Doesn't refurbished also include the gear that is returned for some reason or another- usually for functioning or focus issues? I have returned things from time to time for those reasons-
BUT whatever- I'm going to take a big leap here- why is it that people feel compelled to undermine a seller (by listing where said product can be purchased cheaper) even if they have NO interest in buying? I really don't get it and in my opinion it is a disservice to the seller. And it happens often here!

I am sure this remark is about my post, my intention was not to undermine the seller, people have a habit of becoming attached to the stuff and wanting more for it than it is worth,{ I would love to sell my stuff for what I paid for it after using it for a year!!!) if it were on e-bay I would not care, you get what you pay for.
but here on the UHH there are a lot of people who are new to photography and look up to the professionals.. {not me! this is just a hobby for me}
I know when I come here for advise I like to think I getting help, instead of some person blowing smoke and giving bad advise!
and yes some stuff is sent back because it is bad, that is why it is rebuilt and has a 90 day warranty!
and hey! if he gets what he is asking good for him,

Hi all,
I am in need of a little advise about flash photography, or to be more precise, flash set up. I have a canon 6d and have recently purchased a secondhand canon 580ex II flash. I'm now at a stand still though as I've searched high and low about what I need to trigger this flash to be used off camera. I'm not sure if a wireless trigger is the best option or a cable cord or a small flash to be used on camera as a master for the 580. I had researched the canon 90ex and thought this may be an option but some have said it can't be used as a master while I thought it could? Are all wireless triggers and cords compatible with all cameras or do I need a specific brand? I am mainly wanting to take portraits indoors. Again I am a complete novice in this area so any advise, especially from those who used a canon 6d, would be appreciated
Many thanks 😊
