You haven't said what breed your horses are. Thoroughbreds? Tennessee Walkers?

My horses are Tennessee Walkers. We do the flat shod horses. We had 77 of them at one time, (in the mid 70s) but as we get older we keep cutting down more and more (too much to care for), so now, we are down to 5. Through the years we have had a couple of Saddlebreds, Arabs and Quarter Horses.

remember cheap gas?

Yup. I remember 50-60 cent per gallon gas and cigarettes at 35 cents per pack.

That makes me feel older than dirt I payed 25 cents for gas and that was the high test

Older than dirt huh? Whatever is even older than that is where I am now.

I took pictures out of my bedroom window of a fire in a building across the highway...don't even know why I did, but later their insurance company came to see if we saw the fire and where it started. they said the owners claimed it started in the south end of the building and that it LOOKED as if it had started in the north end. I showed them the photos and it clearly showed it flaming in the north end, then the next flaming in the middle and next in the south end. It was a film camera and the sequence of the negatives proved arson.

There's a little picture on Facebook with a small child saying "But Santa, I didn't mean to". Looks like the second bear could say the same, thinking he's gettin' nuttin' for Christmas. Great photos!

Which state has the cutest squirrels?

Theses are wonderful shots and the little boogers have such cute faces.
In a town near me, the squirrels are white. People have caught some and tried to raise them in other places near here but they died. There is a place in Texas that has them too, I think, but they thrive in a small town in Tn.

Please do not ask for tech.data,I do not keep them. The time exposure depends on the amount of water and the speed of the current.None of this photos were taken with a DSLR,the first two with Sony R1(no stabilization),then Panasonic FZ28, Canon SX20 and the last one with Minolta DiMage 7Hi(I fell in the creek on this one). All handheld.

I LOVE water. (well, all but drinking it. NEVER had more than a couple of ounces in my life!) NO, no booze either!
These are so beautiful. I can just hear it rushing along.

The fireweed looks a lot like the flower they call a Mexican Petunia in Florida. I had one once, but D-I-L begged for it, so she got it!!!

If you have seen my recent post "Alaska: more of my favorite bear shots" please do not look any further. I am reposting the very same pictures here because judging by the low amount of views it was somehow missed by many people. Thank you.

I can't find a thing wrong with seeing them twice. Just makes me oooooh and aaaaah all over again!
