A wonderful scene. About the storm clouds -- did you just happen to go by at the right time, or did you have the scene "staked out" and returnred to it when you saw the clouds building up?

This was taken in November 1978 with a Nikon F and motor drive. The image is a copy of a print. I was about 12 stories up sharing an outdoor platform around the dome pf a nearby bank building with three television photographers. It was cold, and we had to wait about 45 minutes past the scheduled demolition time. Just thought it was something different for UHH.

I don't find this to be the case with my Panasonic Lumix FZ1000.

A magical image. Don't remove the tarp. It adds just a pinch of piquancy.

A beautiful, bucolic renditiion, and I was going to mention the Sears & Roebuck catalog, but you beat me to it.

Excellent texture and coloration, your photo tells a story of a time long gone. The postman would bring to your door the peeping box of chickens hatchlings, ordered from the Sears Robuck catalog.

Great article and memory jogger. I began my photo career in 1946, in Germany, with a speed graphic supplied by Uncle Sam.

I used mine last year at Rocky Mountain National Park. None of the five people in the car were charged. (The pass has always been for a car -- not a person.) I also used it three years ago, and when I handed it to the person at the gate he said, "Boy, you don't see these very often."

A beautiful story, written from the heart. (I'm late in replying -- my computer has been in the shop the past four days.)

ProShow is also a good program. I have it as well. Unfortunately, the microphones I have are not the best, and are quite old. The one I use most is an Ambico Super Uni-Directional Electret Condenser. The other is a Realistic Cardioid Dynamic. I keep looking for something better at a price under $100, so if anyone here can offer suggestions, it would help us both.

Hi Lemon Drop Kid,

I did check out "Moravi" as you suggested. It looks like pretty good photo/audio editor re: mixing of background music with speech (narration and voice-over). Then, it dawned on me to check the software program I am using for this purpose. (I have ProShow Producer by Photodex.) Well, lo and behold, it does. I have been using this program for the past couple years but not tried this function. I printed the instruction from the "Help" section. It does not appear too complicated. I will give it some practice runs.

If you don't mind me asking for your suggestion re: microphone to use? Appreciate your suggestion. I have been using above-mentioned software but not tried the mixing audio and speech. Again, thanks for your valuable tip re: this matter.
