Yes, good idea and I have dabbled in PhotoShop. During the film days I used to randomly double expose a roll of film. Love doing that in PS.

Not really, as I stated my mother like my pictures, she counts. I just want constructive criticism, good and bad. There is always room for improvement. I want to be better and I love hearing what other photographer think of my work. I do it for fun, but me being me I want to be better. I want input from others who don't know me and will look at my pictures without knowing me. As I see there are pro's and armatures here, looks like this is the right place. I don't sell my work, I just like sharing.

Sorry I forgot his name, but all the thanks goes to the guy that taught me about night shooting. Seems he was the same type of photographer as the ones in this forum. Thanks guys and I'm not afraid of negative or should I say learning experiences.

Good luck, I hope my info helped you. As one of my teachers told me Bracket, Bracket Bracket. And that's before digital.

Thank You. The light source is from Yosemite Village. If you look in the middle of the shadows you'll see Half Dome. The sky light is nothing but Stars, at an altitude of almost 10,000ft. I'm at Olmsted Point. Used a Canon 1Dx, ISO 3200, 24-70mm lens set at f2.8 24mm 20sec exposure. I was told that anything over 30 you'll get blur due to the earth's rotation. I was also told that your my ISO should be anywhere from 1600 to 3200. Good lesson that night. Shot over two dozen shots, but this one was the best.

This is where I learned what a New Moon is (no Moon). And with a little help from a new friend, my attempt at night photography.

I've be taking pictures since I can remember. Learned a lot, mostly from talking to others. Love people who share criticism and techniques. Even met Ansel Adams in Yosemite, though I didn't know who he was at the time. And no he didn't share any of his secretes. Just encouraged me to shoot B&W.

Anyway I don't consider myself a professional, I just take pictures. Took classes, but in the end my teachers just told me to learn the books to pass the course, but shoot with what God has given me.

I joined google + and posted pictures to get feedback. Their statement was they were there is because photography is a fine art and it deserves a spot. OK? None of my pictures ever got any feedback. I soon found that only the popular kids got likes. Either that or my photo's do suck. Still my mom likes them.

What I want to know is this a fair sight or do I have to wait to be on the popular list to get answers?

Again I am not a pro, but my equipment is, got lucky with happenstances.

I only want honest answers and criticism. I am not looking to be a good old boy.

Thank you Ladies and Gentlemen, looking forward to replies.
