Okay ... so, listen, JR ... why did you wind up dumping the D7200, so soon after you got it?

Perhaps you need to reread what I wrote.

Not sure I follow this, JR ... did you knock the D7200 OFF the tripod, or what?

No, had it preset for a target when other things were happening.

This could be a shaggy dog story.
After using a D100 for a lot of years, mostly as a point and shoot, I decided to up grade a little over a year ago when
when I saw the D7200 on sale. that was the first time I started to work with PP.
Planed to use the D100 for backup. One day I had the D7200 mounted on a tripod using a remote shutter release, I released
I needed another hand held camera for other things going on. The D100 pics could not be cropped to what I wanted.
About that time the D500 body came on sale. Therefore two cameras that I use as needed.
Lens: 28-200 DX, 18-300 DX, 200-500 FX, 50 mm FX prime used as needed.
The D100 and the two kit lens that came with the D7200 I sold to a friend that is just getting into photography.

Thanks! I went on the B&H site and the printer does not come with any ink. I am not sure, but I believe most printers do. It has been a long time since I have purchased a printer. I just purchased $56 Genuine ink for my Epson. I have had it for a long time. So long I can print on CD's. I play the piano and used to send recordings to friends and family. Thanks again for this info.

Mine came with ink.

Do you happen to know how expensive the ink happens to be?

A full set of eight runs $125.

If you are looking for a dedicated printer for photos, B&H sells the Canon PRO-100 for $380. Canon currently has
a $250 mail-in rebate. This would be just for photos. It is not for general printing.

I attended a wedding last month at witch there was a "pro" with two helpers. Between the three they seemed to be where
they needed to be at the right time.
Several weeks later the pictures were posted to an online site with instructions for ordering. I have no objection to that.
What I didn't care for was that most of the photos were horridly over exposed. Whether this was intentionally done in camera
or in post I don't know.
When I asked the brides father ( also an amateur photographer ) about it he said he was told it was a fad nowadays, but didn't
like it and was going to see if he could get the raw files.

Well, if you don't have a refrigerator, then yes. However, since I have a refrigerator, that means I also have creamer for the coffee and ice for the whiskey. I prefer to not water down my whiskey, well except for the obvious melting of the ice.

Why would you want to ruin good coffee with cream, or, good whiskey with water/ice ??

I must be a psychopath.

Well, occasionally I'll use Bailey's.

Most will promote the brand they are using.
Find a good local camera shop. Have them explain the opperation.
See which feels better to you.

I was talked into buying A Quantaray 28-200 when I got my first DSLR (D100) years ago. It's worked well
over the years. I still use it on my D7200.

I always knew this was true. Now there is a scientific explanation of why
for thirty odd years I've always preferred working a four to midnight or
midnight to eight shifts.
