Now that's interesting----I always thought of Eisenheim as rather an aloof character with an air of "command" about him!
That's about as smart as the British and their opting for BREXIT!!---------
Did it when I was 62---Great achievement to do it at 80! I'm 84 and know I couldn't do it again, couldn't have done it at 80 either. One of the best 10 days we ever spent in Ireland (among many other times)
VERY serious looking young fellow with the look of a schemer-----Great shot of those eyes!!
What settings would you use on a Nikon Coolpix P900 for Fireworks at a distance of perhaps a thousand (1000') feet?
Using Monopod with flexible foot or base
Also using an MZuiko 75-300 or almost any other MZuiko lens suggested
That plaintive look that says "Hey, why am I not 'out and about'" probably makes no impression whatsoever on Madame P!! Eyes are everything!!
Such a great capture----Good for some calendar!
Postings from Wales always bring back great memories---Nice pix and Thx for reminder
Wonderful memories at Treuddyn, Snowdonia, down at LLangenech,----Thanks for beautiful reminders
HAS HE ESTABLISHED A NIGHTLY PROWL SCHEDULE AND ROUTE YET???? Don't know how you get those expressions so perfectly Randy, but 'Ya did it again!'
My Grandson AND his wife both served two tours in Afghanistan USMC, and now he works with a Bomb Sniffing Dog---NEVER talks about it but when we have a
"Veteran's Remembrance Day" here with our Neighbors every year, he brings a flag that he brought back with him and my Son (FDNY) brings a flag that flew at
Ground Zero while he was working there after 9/11---those two flags are always accorded the utmost respect at our gathering---and from what I have read for some years here at UHH, there aren't many (if any at all) members that would ever kneel during the display of our flag or the singing of the Anthem!! It's one of the best reasons to open this program every day.
The NFL has taken a rational position regarding the "Kneelers" during the playing of the National Anthem,
and many of the "Kneelers" have already objected, so I will continue to voice my opinion by boycotting all
NFL Games, in actual attendance or on Television, as I have since Kapernick started this disgraceful display
of petulance by these over-rated, over-paid prima-donnas. Lose a few more "kneelers"!!!!
Haven't seen any of this display at College Games, which are more interesting anyway, so there I'll stay!
I never used a tripod, occasionally used a monopopd
When my principal reason for photography was in preparation for Architectural Renderings, they were invaluable!---but since I
got to the point where I could relegate all that prep work to others, I haven't touched one in years!
I have been happy with my P900 since it arrived. I use it with a flexible base Monopod and that makes the hand-held shots even better! Need to get some practice in using a remote trigger--- Enjoy it---it looks like you're making very good use of the wonderful reach!
I still have my old Leica III, DLux 6/ and my Leica M and they're still the best cameras I've ever used, including Hasselblad/Nikon/now mostly Olympus
