The Plot Thickens (and grows a little taller...)

The Martian is nervous, refusing to leave his office, concerned over the rapid development of the Ministry's newest recruit. And yes, he has every reason to worry--Martian knows he's not getting any younger, and this energetic upstart is the first viable candidate to replace him as Minister of Mayhem in a very long time. The kitten is showing every sign of being a prodigy--a master manipulator at only nine weeks of age, plotting non-stop, launching sneak attacks, pouncing on everyone and carrying off everything that isn't nailed down.

So far there's been no major damage to the Ministry complex itself, but it's only a matter of time.

That is a great capture and a really nice looking subject. One can almost sense the mental processes at work in this one.

Look at that beautiful picture from the cat's perspective: What is that person doing? It has something to do with me, but what? Cats and dogs are gifts from God and wonderful to have around. Enjoy your new one. Thanks for sharing this with us.

If you double down load (download image and then hit the + to enlarge) and then put the bottom of his nose at the bottom of your screen, his little face will fill the whole computer screen. AND the look of downright determination will overflow the room. Watch out, Martian. Cute kitten ...but, He's a comin'!

Thanks, Linda. There's a reason baby things are cute--it keeps us from killing them, lol! Into everything, non-stop mischief and destruction. But yeah, he's handsome. Not that the older cats care about that. He's persona non grata, far as they're concerned. Altho Eisenheim likes him. A little. Mostly because he has a bowl full of kitten crunchies, and as we all know, kitten crunchies taste waaaay better than adult kitty kibble, lol.

Thanks for the positive comment and your visit, always grateful!

Thanks, Bob. The plotting never stops. Except at meal time, when the whole world comes to a screeching halt, and it's 'Get outta my way!!!'

Glad you enjoyed the shot, and thanks as always for the kind words and visit, they're very much appreciated!

Thanks, Fergus. We thought he was sweet, too, when we got him. Turns out he's all teeth, claws, and nuclear-powered, lol. Of course, he's angelic when he's asleep... So maybe there's hope. ; )

Thanks for the kind comments and visit, they're very much appreciated!
