If the built-in knob does not have enough range, the additional lens can be placed on the eyepiece to shift it.
The external diopters seem to be available from -5 to +3 strength.
You would then fine tune it with the knob.
The rubber eyepiece slides up to take it off. Then a new DK-20 diopter lense is slid down to install.
The annoying thing to me is that it looks like the rubber eyepiece should slide down on the outside of the diopter, but in my case the measurements seem to be slightly off, enough so that it doesn't fit.
Is the charger for the EN-EL18 battery included?
Amazon serves both itself and as a marketplace for others.
Sold and shipped by Amazon, would qualify as Nikon Authorized. I have also purchased camera goodies from Adorama on the Amazon website.
Always check the sold by, to verify the real seller on Amazon.
Currently only the Z cameras can be charged via USB directly into the camera. I think the Z5 is is the only one the can be powered by USB while in use.
Ever since 2001, on the anniversary of 09/11, a light display is used to honor the fallen. The lights represent the Twin Towers of 1 and 2 World Trade Center.
Seen reports like this on another site.
Try this:
Remove battery from charger.
Insert battery
When calibrate light comes on, push button.
Wait patiently.
If both battery and charger are ok, within a day. The battery should be charged.
A calibrate cycle drains the battery and then charges it.
Recently did this with an EN-EL4a battery and it took 24 hours.
Had to watch ebay for a year before I saw Thom Hogan's book for the Nikon F6. And then it was the CD only.
Set up a saved search, and watch out for all of Ben Hogan golf books. :)
Also, Rocky Nook seems to still have print and digital copies of "Mastering the Nikon D700" by Darrell Young.
Amazon may still have printed copies.
Yes, you can tether the D610 to a phone.
You need the WU-1b adapter.
Nikon's WMU app is one possible choice.
Qdslrdashboard is another.
My issue has been that phones want to see the internet on a wifi connection and the camera does not connect through. So the phones want to drop the link. Sometimes there is an option to stay connected to the wifi anyway.
This does not connect with a PC, though.
Blue Angels at Newburgh, NY, 2019/08/25.
It will work with G lenses. Dx and FX. The new AF-P lenses with electronic aperture are less compatible.
If you buy from Japan eBay, it will likely be considered gray market and Nikon will not touch it for repairs.
Love my F6, but don't use it as often as I would like to.
Had the modification made to use Pre-AI lenses when I sent it in for a check and clean.
Was returned in about 3 weeks.
Use the menu option on the camera to save settings
Copy the file of saved settings to your computer, before you format the card, and then copy it back after?
This is something that you would do as a part of a factory reset.

Why are they allowed to advertise on UHH if they aren't legit ?
The admin can confirm this, but I believe that he has little control over the advertising that is mixed in to the web pages when they are sent to you. When I get fashion items for my wife, all I see is ads from the sites visited.
Then, I'll go to Adorama, or B&H, and the ads will change over.
