I love your rodeo shots but do you take other pictures, bulls calf roping, etc?

Was editing pictures, and almost threw this one away. Played with it for a while and got to liking it. Thought I'd post it.

Thank you everyone for your magnificent posts and support. But, I am surprised that no one has yet posted a picture or cd of "The Doors". I have none or I would have. My visual "doors" are shutting down and the computer is trying to make fun spelling corrections again so I will see you in the morning. DO remember Emang, one of our "regulars" in the hurricane/rain and wind. Yesterday she posted that they were getting generator and help ready as her husband is a paraplegic. I am sure she is without electricity. I am sure she would really appreciate being in our thoughts and prayers.

See you "door"morrow. Pat

Doors of necessity and door to the past.

According to the dictionary, a door is usually a swinging or sliding barrier by which an entry is closed or opened - gate, hatch, portal.

This should be a fun one. Looking forward to seeing your "doors" and artistic interpretation of same.

Keep the original intact and make copies to work on. That way you still have the original as YOU like it.

I have the Nikon ED AF 70-300mm f4/5.6 D for sale to help me recover my costs for the 28-300 I just bought. I want $150 for the 70-300 if that is of interest to you then PM me, it is like new condition, I never used it. I also have an 18-70mm Nikon and the new Piezo Tamron 18-270 mm VR for sale.

Keep in mind the standard 70-300mm lenses WILL NOT AUTOFOCUS on your D60. You MUST have the AF-S type lens if you want the autofocus to work.

No problem!!! It was just a suggestion. I have a lot of old photos and prefer not to do anything to them also.

Just a thought, you can use PSE and take out all those spots off the picture. Makes it look a lot better.

>>>CTP:Since this my day dream I prefer to let history be just that, HISTORY. Sure, I guess we all could have retouched these things. But why? We're not here to "make it look a lot better'---If this were music, I think what we are creating would be counterpoint, pride, look what we found. Just cuz PP may be available, doesn't mean we have to.......These photos stand on their own very well!

I noticed that too, I don't know what that means unless it it is a way to keep track of it (him/her).

Incidently, that makes these original shots almost 75 years old---think the stuff we're doing today will last that long?
