I'm wondering what the masses have to say about this. How many bother using the plastic cover that slides over and protects the hot shoe contacts on top of your camera. Is it for looks, or do you feel the protection it provides is important. I have an Olympus Pen-F (pictured) with as you can see a matching silver plastic cover over the contacts. Well, maybe I should say I "had". I've looked everywhere it should be, and everywhere it shouldn't be. I kind of like the way it looks and I dont use flash that much, so I'm thinking of going to the trouble of painting a black one that I found silver. I do think Ill like the silver look, more than the black, but how necessary is it at all. Thanks for your responses.

I have used Olympus cameras for years. Never used the hot shoe cover. Just a wipe to remove any dust before mounting flash controller. Never had a problem with contacts.

Just received an email from "PayPal" indicating my account had been hacked and that I owed $300 for the purchase of gift cards that someone made on my account. The senders email was different from PayPal. Be aware and do not send money.

1955 Oldsmobile 88

My first car in college was a 55 Olds 4 dr hardtop. In two tone green. Put lots of miles on that car. Very reliable but rusted badly in upstate NY weather.

I wonder what the Sun Tachometer drive in the engine comp. is for, I see no Tach in or on the dash.

Could it be for the engine management?

Do they also exempt sales calls, scammers and non political fund raisers? No, but they should!

With your directions, I was able to locate it on the internet. The name is the Circle L Motel. It's only a few hundred feet from Camp Lazarus, on the opposite site of Route 23.

I do remember the old Circle L sign. It fell down years ago. Thanks for looking that up.

Thanks for commenting. The old building was quite sun-bleached and rotting. This is what I saw. Feel free to try different processing techniques.

This old motel used to be busy until the highway came through. What stories are hidden in this place. Oh btw, the building is for sale if you are interested. Like an old barn, this former business will dissolve into the earth or be sold for the land to build more apartments. I thought b&w added to the dreary scene.
