Nikon Rumors has good sources and a good record of prognosticating what Nikon will do. They also will state when they think a rumor has less credibility than it ought to in order to be taken seriously. Their 'buying guide' lists the D500 as a 'buy' with a new model expected around 2021. The D500 is an incredible camera and a giant step beyond D300s. Besides, the D500 is the best crop sensor DSLR available, so why would Nikon introduce a new model?

You're supposed to feed them too? I thought as professionals on the job they shouldn't eat while working. I think it's OK to take them out to dinner afterward but not them eating during the reception which they are supposed to work. Even when I photographed wedding for free I don't eat during the reception.

When I photographed weddings I expected to eat also. Sometimes you are working from 10AM until 3AM and food helps you keep going. Also, most people don't want to see photos of others eating so meal time is a perfect time for the Photog to eat.

Do you believe 20.8 megapixels will have the same resolution as 45.7 if all else is equal?

Good question, but there is a substantial difference between Lightroom CC and Lightroom CC Classic.

Well done! You have the stars and just the right amount of light on the foreground.

The people elected Trump because they were tired of being sold down the river by the Democrats who were running a crook who sold us out to the Russians for a huge donation to the Clinton foundation.

My favorite one was from Colorado in 1997. The forecast was "No measurable accumulation." It turned out it wasn't measurable because they only had a yard stick and we got 4 feet of Rocky Mountain Champagne Powder.

I also live in Rural area, but still have choices and there are also several satellite based offerings. If there is a demand the market place will react and fill the void. My current service is from a small company that has a series of towers that provide point to point service.

"Net Neutrality" began in ancient times, 2015. The internet seems to have existed and thrived without it prior to 2015 so it ought to do just fine without it in 2018.

So the TOP one's a goat, huh?

And the second one's a Big Horn Sheep ... isn't that kinda a cousin to the RAM?

I assumed it was ... but I've never even been in Colorado - one of the very few states I've missed ...
Something to do with being concerned about following the perimeter in my early travelling days ...
Nice to have a real road going to the top of a high mountain, huh? ... How considerate!
I'll bet they took a while, putting THAT one in, huh, DM?

So the TOP one's a goat, huh? br br And the secon... (show quote)

The males are called Rams, but this one has a lot of growing to do. Colorado has two 14ers with roads to the top. Pikes Peak even has a cog railway to it's peak. The nicest part of having a road is when you find a thunderstorm is fast approaching. Being above timberline and exposed when the lightening is striking near you is more excitement than I care for. I've run for the trees more than once with simultaneous thunder and lightening.

"Need" is a false question. It isn't whether someone 'needs' something or in some cases whether they should be allowed to have a given item. If you want it and can afford it you should have it. No one 'needs' a Ferrari, but that's not a reason for no one owning one. The largest one of my photos (taken with a D200) has been enlarged to was a full sized billboard (but then again no one got that close to study it other than the people putting it up). The next largest was 48"x 96" and lots of people got close to it and it looks fine.

My Goodness!!! DM, you have some animals there I don't even recognize!!!
Let me guess ... the top one - a snow deer? ... just a guess ... never seen anything quite like it!
The next one - either a goat, or a ram ... am I anywhere near close?
Those scenics of the mountains are unbelievable!!!
Where is Mt. Evans? ... There, in Colorado - where you are?

#1 Mountain Goat (Oreamnos americanus) Sometimes called a Rocky Mountain Goat
#2 Juvenile Big Horn Sheep (Ovis canadensis)

Mont Evans is one of Colorado's 14ers and is located on the front range. It also has a road that goes nearly to the top.
