I shot several portraits of my niece and her husband. I can think of some set up things like reflectors that would have been helpful in the shoot, but with the shots I have, I'm curious how others that have more experience with portraits would do to this PP. I'm really trying to learn how to do portraits and I'm a pretty slow learner. Please feel free to work on it and repost (if that is allowed on this channel). Please explain how you approach PP for portraits such as this, no studio, etc.

I am looking for a tripod that is at least 72" fully extended and am having a hard time finding them online. All I see are 60-65" extended. My height requires at least a 6 footer. I want a fairly well built one and will be putting about 6 pounds on it. Thanks in advance for your help.

And what are you thinking about how much your going to spend , a good one is around $1400.00 and up , is normal ,if you want it to last , and you can use it every day without fear

And has any one mentioned old and or tripod , shooting in manual , picking your stop picking your shutter speed , try full auto
On same shot , then switch to what you do when when not as good as your friends keep track of which is which then compare

Yeah! It's the photographer and not the camera because the photographer owns the camera and the camera is his slave so that he can claim the credit which really belongs to the camera.

Nope, I'll bet he doesn't. You see, he's lost in his own little world of perfection that he thinks you're referring to someone else. I usually make one comment and let it go. We used to have one jerk (now banned) who would criticize each typo or missed comma - and then attack anyone who said anything. I'll admit I like a good fight, but not when others are trying to help someone. I do, however, stay out of the Attic; those fights are insanne (and yes, I deliberately misspelled a word; let the Grammer Gestapo and Spelling Spetsnaz sue me)!

I agree with you, but you’re calling out the wrong person. I think you may have missed the prior post he was replying to. He wasn’t being a “grammar cop”, he was responding to the grammar troll who had rudely critiqued another member’s misspelling by pointing out that people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones...

Yes ,I was just agreeing with him , sorry if he took it wrong , I'm sure the person with the spelling correction fetish knows who
I mean , 😆

In your first sentence, move the comma after the word "kept" to after the word "lose".
In your third sentence, use "that" instead of "which" since the noun is followed by a restrictive clause. Unless you learned British English, then you can have a pass for that one.
In your fourth sentence you need a space after the word "will". On second thought, there are so many grammatical errors in this sentence I would suggest deleting it and trying again.
In your final sentence, move the period inside the closing parenthesis. This is done when a sentence is started with an open parenthesis.
You would know all this if you paid attention in grammar school.

Who really gives a fiddlers f . We are not here for a lesson on spelling, it gets to be a pain having to put up with that crap ,
I know what he said and so did ever one else . Why is it every time some one miss spells a word , there is always some holier than thou creep in the corner waiting to show the world how perfect he or she is , there's more to life than trying to prove your
Supiereor to your fellow man , I think it's you and your kind that has the problem , your the insecure one with the hang ups
Not the guy who makes spelling mistakes , I'm the worst speller around. And it has not lowered my standard of my life in any way
The only thing I can think of is that your types , the spelling thing you have is some thing serious has happened to you in your
Child hood , it's not healthy , there is more problems in the world to vent on , like get serious with your repeat offenders of the
Law , write to your law makers, Congress people, who ever and tell them to get it cleaned up .
