Again, I want to thank those folks who post exit data. It has been helpful in my photography. I know some don't post exit data. That is their choice. It would be interesting as to the reasons they don't post exit data. I'm just curious.

You can easily get daily accounts such as these by subscribing to the web site "Florida Man." They mostly do not involve death; nonetheless, it is hard to accept that people can be so crazy. One of my favorites is the newspaper story about a man who robbed a Quick Shop. When the police arrived he was masturbating standing in front of the store. You just don't get the pleasure of seeing these things in most newspapers.

RRS and Kirk are consistently very good. I have tried Sunway and assorted others over the years and always ended returning them, just not a solid fit. For the 6D I would look on ebay, they typically run about half the price of new.

RRS is expensive (outrageous?); yet, they fit like a glove. I have had cheaper L brackets that just did not have the fit or finish of RRS. Buy the best and cry once.

Michael, it appears that Butch is trying to bite off a few blades of grass to help with an upset stomach! Take care!

You might want to consider "take care" of the carpet in the house.

One of our many squirrels this winter. My wife makes mini peanut butter sandwiches for them. LOL

Your wife is a good kindhearted person. We feed our squirrels throughout the year. Until our dog slowed down, they were in extreme danger if they got on the ground and he saw them. He liked to bring their bodies and place them on our patio for us to admire.

Hi Terry, thanks for taking a look. Actually if I had to guess at the number of shots I would say it was under 100 for this series, I was shooting in bursts of about 4-5 at a time.

You have inspired me. I have the equipment and will be starting my try at in in the next two weeks. I can be patient. I imagine I will need a lot of patience.
Thanks for your images.

Why the enjoyment in the real or fantasized harming of another human being, willing or not? I am not a prude and have not been bothered by pictures of explicit sex.

As in all cases, multiple copies of important files are mandatory.

Damn! You just destroyed an opinion on reliability I had held without evidence for my opinion. THANK YOU.

I thought as much.

I would be very interested in acquiring a tripod that could reliably meet all of your requirements.

Listen to Gene 51. Do a search and you will find his evidence.

I am asking for advice on brands of good quality hiking shoes for my photography excursions. The last pair I purchased were great, but too small. I got them on line and that was the problem. I could not try them on first and walk around. Any suggestions will be helpful.

New Balance. I take a 4E width. They have that.

I'm hoping to travel to Miami, FL to visit relatives in March. Past air travel I used a photo backpack with a camera body, one or two lenses and medications. I'd like to take more lenses, SB 800 flash and a tripod. I don't think I can get all this using carry-on luggage. I'm sure others have had similar concerns. Any suggestions for alternative shipping for my equipment to avoid damage or theft? Thanks.😊

Do a search. You will find lots of recommendations. Wear a photovest with lots of pockets. Place stuff in those pockets. It might be a little challence with a 600 mm lens.

I have a fundamental problem with post processing in that I don't know when to quit, i.e., I can't even decide what amount of processing I like best. So I'm coming to you hoggers with several options of several photos to give me your learned opinions. I have several sets of photos to compare so if you would like to help me please keep looking at the thread as I will post more after I get some opinions on each set. Thank you in advance

Set 1, which crop?

One of the issues is that your two choices are different sizes. In our camera club reviews of other camera clubs prints, the larger ones almost always win out.
