These are happy photos. The bright colors and that humorous Red Winged Blackbird bring a smile to my face! Well done.

This is mesmerizing, Linda. There's no need to really understand it - just enjoy the exploration.

Precious series, Tom. I think your Gorilla was getting tired of posing by the last shot.

The first shot feels free and refreshing. That's an ineresting shot of the oyster shell. I'm glad you identified it. Very nice, creative series. Well done.

Very nice shots. I love the woodpecker. It is similar to some we have here. The quail would be a rare find here but that on is a beauty.

I only saw a few birds other than Egrets but here is a sampling.

Earlier in the winter there are literally hundreds of assorted ducks. This time I saw very few but at least these were close in. Grebes and Mallards.

Roseate Spoonbill. I think this is a young one.

Some fantastic images here!! Carol

Thank you, Frank. Birds and flowers are my thing. I remember laying on my stomach in the grass using extension tubes to photograph tiny flowers (weeds). Now I would have trouble getting back up!

Beautiful shots Couldn't see one that wasn't white, but I think I did see one that was invisible

Thank you. The bird your looking for is in the first shot on the far left. I didn't notice it when I was there but it look like he just took flight. He is still very low. Maybe just shifting positions. As for the invisible one, I missed it too.

So cool.

I lived in Fort Walton Beach for just my sophomore year of high school. Had other interests back then

At that age I don't guess birds were my thing either.

Great photos Carol. I love that drive. I lived in Cocoa Beach and worked at the Cape for three years. We used to take the mg midget on that drive. Loved it

That sounds like fun, Frank. I'm glad you liked the photos and memories.
