CO, what would be the best procedure to keep the NEF info so the image can be processed in LightRoom? I have been unhappy with LR's rendering in my more extreme ISO images, but haven't decided on the best NEF conversion software. If I use Nikon's, what file format do I use to save the image for LR processing?

I'm not CO, but if you open your NEF files in ViewNX-I, you can program it to go directly to LR's 'Import' menu, and import your files into LR.

Chasing the clouds---- these motorcyclists seemed to be chasing up the hill towards the cloud mass that had formed on top of the Buittertub Pass in Yorkshire

Beautiful! You could even reverse it for North American consumption.

Fake boobs that have, essentially sacks of saline, crammed into the breast SKIN, are not all that appealing to me. I've seen so many, all the same effect, that, it might as well be a mannican.. RJM

Why do they do that, when natural is so much more appealing?

Hello, I've been shooting with a Nikon d-700 and looking to upgrade to the d-750. On the research I've done I like the faster speed @6 FPS, and supposed better clarity, and the Wi-Fi aspect. I tether with the
current camera -.

My 2 cent's worth!

The D700 is a fine camera. It appears, from the responses, that the Wi-Fi aspect of the D750 might disappoint you? Will the 6fps really improve your shooting? Can the higher resolution actually benefit you?

I 'upgraded' my D700, and sold it when it was actually worth some dollars. While I like the upgrade, a D800, I can't say it improved any aspect of my photography, at least up to 13" x 19" prints.

My money could have been better spent on glass.

-then have a couple of kids or your wife pack your gear around for you as you shoot. If you do that, then you probably won't care so much about the camera weight the next time you carry them for your self. The quiet and peace of your hike will be worth the weight.

Hahaha!!

Excuse my ignorance, but other than a raptor, What is it?

I think it is a young Red Tailed Hawk, a very common hawk in Nevada.

I'm assuming this is Highway 50 in Nevada? That's one lonely road. Yes, 123 mph or more. I would never attempt it.

Highway CA 266/NV 266. From Lone Pine, CA over the White Mountains to US 95 N. Also lonely, and I never got to 123 mph. Chickened out!
