This weekend my husband and I went to Big Bear to see if we could find some eagles to photograph. Poor guy I made him hike all over. We finally saw this nest with two bald eagles by it. I wish I could have gotten them together but it was a first time photographing eagles so I was thrilled! In third picture you will see black birds harassing one of the eagles in the nest. That surprised us. I've got pictures of them flying but I will post them in the BIF section.

I like shooting Sunsets and hope to become better at it. I threw the 3rd image in because technically it is a sunset just happens to have Venus passing in front of it. Let me know what you think?

Thanks, guys. I have found the problems in an Organiser setting. Turning off Auto Analyser (Edit >> Preference >> Media Analysis, uncheck all the boxes and click OK). Editor now closes files instantaneously and switches back to Organiser automatically as it has always done.
