I agree with dpullum; this is an interesting image: excellent tonal range, sophisticated color palate, very good visual dimensionality, texturally fascinating, purposeful sharpness, intriguing composition... and overall thought provoking... this is art, journalism, documentation, whimsy and commentary all rolled into one. I like this very much.

Thank you very much, fuminous. Words every photographer dreams of!

Now that is a story ! My story from this photo is prob different from others, but the image triggers imagination.... that makes it a great photo.

Thank you very much, dpullum. The rest of the story, straight from my imagination: We've lived on this 5 acres for over 15 years. The former owner loved hitting golf balls in his spare time. I have found them partially buried all over. One day, while strolling with my camera in the wooded portion, I came across two of the balls and the long forgotten coke bottle. I'm guessing he paused for refreshment and intended to come back for the bottle but forgot.

That part was rather scary - and we watched it on TV! But in the end the story ended well with the bad guy thwarted and the world (Krull) saved.

Just wondering - Been a Nikon user for years, but have thought about sticking my toe in the Canon world. Have an interest in the 5D Mark lll, and have been keeping an eye on availability (only used available). Have noted that there seems to be very few on the market as compared to other makes/models (lots of Mark lls listed).

From things I have read, the camera is referred to as a solid workhorse that has been used by professionals for years. Just wondering if there seems to be so few out there just because they are so loved that no one wants to give them up, or not many were purchased in the first place OR what? Any insight?

Villages, I purchased the Mark III apx. 3 years ago and couldn't be happier that I did. It is indeed a workhorse and, believe me, if anyone could be living testament to that, it's me. I shoot hundreds at a time and it's never failed me yet. I find the photos to be far superior to any camera I have ever owned. I will warn you, however, that it is extremely heavy, and I have had to put it away for periods due to back problems, but I love it so much that as soon as I felt better I couldn't wait to get back to it. I'm sending you a PM on purchasing possibilities.

The download reminded me of the spider in the movie Krull.

I've never seen that one Dragons. Sounds like something I would avoid

I posted this in the wrong section and it was moved to Never, Neverland and quickly disappeared, so I'm giving it another try.

Very tempting, but I didn't go in I have a feeling it would have been sealed shut immediately! Thanks, Mike.
