I went to Great Lakes Bootcamp in Jan. 1955, always remember it after all these years. My son went there for training also 2005, (about not sure) He also went to Core school there and I went to his graduation. After 2 deployments to Iraq and 9 months in Afghanistan he is in for the long haul. Nice photos, thanks for sharing them.
