collecting police fire and ems patches. thanks to the generosity of some kind hoggers I have added Las vegas metro and la county sherrif dept to my collection. Pride of my collection is a columbian national anti narcotics police patch. My other hobby is world domination, if I could only get this orbital mind control device to work.
I have always loved taking pictures. I once had a 16' Hobie Cat. I loved sailing out on Lake Pontchartrain here in Louisiana. Then when I lived in Hollywood Florida I took up Scuba diving. How that I am 65 years of age and have COPD, photographic is more my pace.
Apart from photography, filmmaking, novel and screenwriting, 3D camera design, software development, and running an ad agency, I like to make dessert.

I had to retire 2 years ago due to health problems but the doctors said that one of the best things I could do for myself was to have a hobby. I hadn't been planning to retire this early (I'm 64 now) and I really hadn't given it much thought and it was my doctor who suggested photography.
I was just wondering if anyone else has (besides photography) any interesting or unusual hobbies?
Worm drowning. Take the camera with you and combine the two. Makes a great day out.

When we were little kids we used to go out after a rain and catch worms for the fishermen. We set up a little stand in the front yard and sold them, just like the little lemonade stands you see today. It used to gross out my sister until she found out we were selling them for 25 cents a dozen and then she'd be the first one outside after a rain, digging in the ground for worms.
I'm into collecting now once I have retired...I sit in the corner and collect dust!
