I think you did a great job. You've got good composition and lighting. Looks like you had good rapport with her since she looks relaxed and the poses aren't stiff. I don't think the way she is dressed is an issue since that's what she decided to wear. I especially liked what you did with the first one. All in all, you got some excellent shots. I'd say you had a success.

Hi there
Lovely work. If you are planning to take more pictures, definitely have changes of clothes, vary her hair style, her position, her posture and her smile. Avoid the railway line as backdrop and use a wider aperture to give a more blurred background. She is a lovely girl to photograph.
For the first shot, I think the reverse of the B&W may look better but you'll have to try and see. I would also crop in close - just above the corner of the frame at the top, to below her right elbow at the bottom. Crop the right edge to about the same spacing as on the left edge. Clone out the railway lines and bright areas on the top right.
For the second image, clone out the white spots in the undergrowth at her head level, especially on the right side of the image. Crop off the top a bit.
For the 3rd image, you need to tone down the highlights on her left hand, bracelet and background. Also crop off the top a bit, down to where the tree bark changes to grey.
Lose the fourth shot.
Crop in at the top and left and right sides and tone down the highlights on the back of her shirt and seating.

I can't take credit for that, wasn't sure how seniors posed, so I looked it up on the internet and found some really good ideas. Some people have really good ideas.

I see what your saying, and I agree completely, I did reverse the image with the picture frame. I also took about 200 pictures of her that day, different smiles and poses, same clothes though. Again thank you for the advise, I will follow through with it.

All are very good. Clothing I don’t see as a problem. When doing senior portraits I like to capture the personality of the senior, this is what you did. Their clothing choice is part of their personality. May want to blur the background a little to bring the attention back to the student, also she has such dark eyes you may want a reflector to add just a little to them. The B&W mix I think would be better reversed. Here is one I did along that line. Over all great shots I think she will be very happy with them.

I think you are well on your way! Nicely composed shots, good lighting, got her at ease in front of the camera. Just a little attention to the small details and you will be super, and not just for helping those who can't afford the big bucks photographer! Kudos to you

All nice shots. How about reversing the first on and making her face in the frame in color and outside of the frame in B&W?

The first one is a great idea. I would choose a different background or blur it a little more.
