You couldn't just put a link to one of the many other places you posted these?

Pathetic out of control fanboy.

Thanks all! All good comments. What a relief, I have made my “this morning’s” decision to wait. That could change tomorrow however. Starts all over again. Damn.

I like your philosophy!

Go for it - if for no other reason than you'll be able to tell us all about it. I've bought lots of things I didn't need, but I wanted them. I'm a firm believer in making myself happy.

Buy it, use it, after a year, you'll know what to do. (The D5s and D850 will still be in demand and sell well if the Z makes you want to stay with that technology...)

Your fatal mistake was that you went to look at one!! Doesn't have to be a conundrum - just buy it and then let us know what you think after using it for awhile.

I have seen some wonderful images from the Z7 as well as excellent reviews. There will always be naysayers about any system but the early reviews have been good. If you need more justification look at Photography Life online- I believe their review is as unbiased as you can get.

Damn it! Was not going to buy the Z7, still have not, but curiosity got the better of me and I went to look at one. I have 2 D5's and a D850. Can hardly justify it, don't want it, well, kinda. Sold all of my Sony A7R2 and 3 cameras and lenses because I did not want multiple platforms. Now what!?!?! Dilemma and conundrum city!
Trying to not think about my confusion.

So you meant that I actually lucked out because I was invited to the launch event and I missed it.

Reevaluate the cameras you have and compare with what the Z7 has to offer.

I have read there are a few advantages to the Z6 as well. Hmmmmmm.

Get both!

GAS is not an illness! It is a sign of character!!!!

Anyone who says otherwise is just SICK!
