You brag that you visited the projects in Philly. I biked through and worked in West Philly for ten years until I retired two years ago. Forty years ago, I worked at Our Sacred Mother of Cabrini Hospital doing emergency medical transport out of Cabrini Greens. I was shot at while evacuating firemen from the towers. This was outside of a military life. Try putting a chest tube in a fireman while under fire with no weapons and no protection. Police were helpful when they were present.
