Buy a new camera at B&H while you are in NY and drop off your broken camera. Keep it as a spare.

Sadly, Adolph Gasser is no longer in business. The children didn't want to take over the business so it closed just over a year ago.

Olympus in South Hackensack is a quick ride over the GW bridge or through the Lincoln Tunnel if you have a rental car, straddling I80. If you go, Chubbys BBQ on River Road is awesome.
