Reflect (as in reflection) means that the mirror reflects light.
Reflex means that the mirror flips up out of the way so that the light can pass onto the sensor.

reflex is the common term for a telescopic mirror lens. mostly 500mm. most are hard to focus and lack some degree of contrast. one exception is the Sony or Minolta version which has auto focus. contrast can be adjusted in camera or in pp.my images have been quite sharp.
