Pat, who was nice enough to administer the Train section clearly included model railroad.
Anything railroad related such as diesel locomotives, electric, steam locomotives, rail stations, bridges, signals, model railroads, and museums. Managed by Jay Pat.
There was not a need for a train section, there was a desire for one and enough people willing to support it.
I would guess that if somebody wanted to administer a bird section the admin would set it up. It might even become the most popular section specific to photography.
Gotta go edit the Hummingbird pictures I just shot.

Rich, the list you speak of already exists - at the top left of this page, you’ll see a tab labeled “home”. Clicking on it shows several things, starting with a list of whatever sections you are already subscribed to. Scroll down that list, at the bottom, you will see a tab labeled “All Sections”. Clicking on it takes you to the complete official list of all UHH sections. Click any section that appeals to you and subscribe. IMO, the list is pretty self-explanatory and not too busy. It’s very easy to subscribe to whatever floats your boat. Wait...Boats! What a great idea for another section. Regards, Ralph
