Since this website has been the home to over 35 to 40 bird photos daily how about changing the name of this website to the www.uglyhedgebird.com website then maybe all the bird photo people will enjoy it better or should we force then to put their photos into their own file like they tried to do with the Railroad photos. I have over 10,000 railroad photos l can post on here daily if you want me too. Steam and Diesel era. Just let man know what you want.

What is preventing you from posting your entire catalog of Train-related photos in the Train section now? Members have been posting photos that should be in the Photo Gallery, in For Your Consideration or elsewhere for years. IMO, they have gotten away with it since Admin does not have the time/energy necessary to police every post and not because of any imagined bias toward BIF, flowers, babies or any other subject. When the Trains section was first announced, I subscribed to it right away and have viewed every single post therein. Any other member can do the same for free. Blame all the other members for not patronizing Trains. /Ralph

I prefer grumpyoldmenwithnothingbettertodothancomplain.com (is that too many letters?)

You do know there's a "newest pictures" link at top of the page, right? Browse there and you'll never have to see a bird again (hint: you will need to subscribe to all sections that interest you in order to see photos from that section in the link - and be logged in).

Have a fine day!

p.s. You can check with the Trains moderator to confirm, but I'm fairly certain nobody is being forced to post their choo choo's exclusively there. Jay Pat:

I would love to hear the explanation for why 'trains' needs it's own section but 'birds' does not.

Not needs...wants! That section was created for like-minded enthusiasts of the subject. Check in with their moderator on how you too can have your own section:

PS: if a member wants their own section for birds or earth worms or what ever, all they need to do is contact Admin. and find out what the requirements are.
