Well said, complete agreement.
👍👍👏

People seem to have forgotten what a mess the economy was when Obama took office. The banking industry almost failed. At the height if the recession, unemployment was 10% in October of 2009. When he left office in January of 2017, it had dropped steadily for 8 years to 4.8%. Trump inherited a good economy. If you want to claim that a 1% improvement is a great accomplishment by Trump, the math shows that Obama did almost 5 times better. He would have accomplished even more except for the do-nothing, obstructionist Congress. Those numbers are facts, not opinions. I saw representatives of a small midwest town a while back thanking President Trump for lowering their unemployment rate from some 22% to 2.5%. When it was pointed out that the rate had dropped to 3.5% before Trump took office, they had no comment.

Spoken like a typical overlord. Read your history oh enlightened one. It never ends well for those elitists.

I bet King George thought the colonists would come crawling back too.

Insightful does not mean wrong as you would wish. To compare me to the English King that we, as a nascent nation rejected is.... well silly and classic misdirection.

Shrug, I know Foxboro having grown up in Cambridge... you know what I mean even if the distinction is lost on others. Go back to your boilermaker haunts on Route 1.

4% was another classic manipulation. Look at labor participation. Those who fell off the unemployment system were not counted. The stock market is up more in one year than the prevoius 8. Look at the DOW charts. Look at the approx 40% drop in 2009. GDP was historically abysmal.
Ocare is a complete scam and disaster. All who know the numbers know this.
Etc etc. Again, why would i believe your posts when you believe such?

Pretty understandable with a Rwing congress

Right, a LOT of people underestimated the simmering anger of the marginalized among us. They got a voice and Democratic blacks did not turn out for Hiliary as they did for Barack. There were several Republicans far better but Trump’s behavior during the primaries appealed to those who (understandably) were very dissatisfied with DC. They voted, and even though Trump lost the popular vote, he won the electoral college vote. Fairly.

The trouble is, only some of us see the serious damage being done. He is evicerating our long term alliances and embracing our long term enemies... AND that’s just for starters.

Angry reaction does not make things better... it just changes the focus.

We’re in serious trouble; some see it now, all will eventually see it. Just ask the farmers who voted for him.

Here in NC, where pork and soybeans are billion dollar exports, these farmers are in danger. The difficulties will only expand. I wish I was wrong... I’ll be happy to be proven wrong... but the signs are ominous and, as a country, we are foolish to ignore them.

You pointed out one of my big concerns. The toughest part of being President is that you HAVE to honor the international agreements of prior administrations, whether you agree with them or not. You can always negotiate new ones, but you don't just walk away from them. The Country, itself, has to be trustworthy.

+1

We get the government we vote for or don't vote for.
This damage will be around for a very, very long time.

As I said earlier and stand by ..... I am personally embarrassed and offended at how our Government acts.

I am and have always been a proud American.

Indeed, any proud American should speak out against wrong behavior from elected officials. I voted for Bill Clinton, but I never tried to defend or excuse his immoral behavior with Ms. Lewinski. The President is supposed to serve as an example to be admired. People with selective memories should look at unbiased facts before accepting the claims that Mr. Trump makes. Unemployment rates, for example, follow a long term trade, either up or down. Here is a link showing the real trend over the past 16 years. https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14000000 There is no indication that the trend has changed or improved under President Trump.

Twice today the quote reply didn't work right for me, even though it was on my reply screen. That last comment was just a general observation. Sometimes I prefer to not get confrontational with anyone specific.
