In Ohio, the only one you are likely to see is the Ruby Throated. Lucky for you it's one of the prettiest you'll see in the States. I would suggest planting a lot of nectar producing plants if that's possible. If not, put out a bunch of feeders. Fill with 1 part sugar to 4 parts water. Keep them clean! Once you are attracting lots of hummingbirds, spend time in the area and let the birds get used to you. Then set up a comfortable chair within about 20 feet of a feeder or plant and plant your behind there. Be patient and keep taking photo's. I'm glad you liked my photo's, thanks!
