Why Can't UHH Have A 16 Image Portfolio for every User???

Well Hogs, how hard could that be? Even only 12!
If every user got a space on the bottom of their acct to post a 16 photo portfolio to move pics in and out as they pleased?
Maybe just 1500 pixels on the long side, no downloads. That's more than enough to view an images composition, no pixel peeping necessary.
I would put 16 pics on that in a heartbeat. I'll probably never make a website, just don't have the time and not that important to me!!!
Maybe we can pressure the old ostrich!!! LoL
That way every member can post a few pics that everybody can view without having to have a website or Flickr.

What are "User Pages" here at the Hog. I couldn't find anything that describes them in the help section.

User Pages don't appear to allow you to attach photos. If they did, that would be a quick easy way to create a 10 photo gallery with a link included in your signature.

If you click on “my profile” in the page header, you will find a link to “my pages”. There is an explanation at the top of “My pages”.

86505 users X 16 photos = 1344080 photos X 10 mb (per photo) = 13,449,800 mb = 13 tb (I believe; the pain-killers are kicking in)

I'm game-I hate posting to sites that I never end up using, anyway. 12-16 images is more than enough to get a "feel" for a person's abilities-usually!

A work-around might be to post links to however many mages you want to display. This means, of course, you would have to have previously posted each image somewhere and had to look up the specific html.

Another possibility would be to create a "My Portfolio" topic and link to that in the signature area. The disadvantage to this is that you would not be able to go back and swap photos later on. The way it is now, the user pages seem to remain editable, just no photos.

Like many subscription things, users are added but NEVER any taken off because it bumps up the advertiser ratings. There is in reality few users, just lots of dormant accounts.
When I post to Mayhem, the Max is 1000pixels across the top and a max of 1mb combined file, and the images show extremely well!!
There’s no peeping but peeping is actually useless except to check focus.
So 16 to 20mb is more than enough!
How many mb(tb) are in the gallery every day alone?!
Even a block of 9 photos is all that’s required in professional portfolios!
Your best image in every genre.
A small addition to add a lot of dept and users to the Hog!
