That’s the picture the gun zealots like to paint.
First the useless assault style rifles would be banned and the government would institute a buyback since they would no longer have a monetary value among law abiding citizens. Most would sell the useless guns.
Then heavy restrictions on all guns and usage, prompting more buybacks.
Eventually half the guns in the country would be off the streets.
Just today I read where a 14 year old black teen knocked on a door to ask directions to school and a red neck white TURD chased him down the street with a shotgun. Being incompetent, by the time he got a shot off, luckily the kid was out of range.
The redneck was arrested and jailed.
That’s what the average uneducated conservative masses are like! They’re pretty stupid!!!

'Parkland teacher who pushed for arming teachers left a loaded gun unattended' Salon

Don't leave your Sig in the toilet block. Seriously, you wouldn't read about this stuff in a comic book.

Students blast the teacher’s negligence and point to #NeverAgain’s goal of responsible gun ownership

Is this somehow significant? The man is an irresponsible drooling fuckwit eager to be a hero, they are legion.

Jeez, Dennis, now you look like a little top spinning out of control, sputtering and stuttering!? LoL
You show me WHERE I said ANYTHING different than what you just said???
I said exactly the same thing!
Where we differ is that YOU and the NRA and other idiots want to separate the gun from the sicko, the truth is they can’t be separated.
We will never outlaw people, so responsible society has to regulate the sicko gun owners fav weapon of choice for killing......, the GUN!!!

Once again, where to start?

The ATF is not allowed to maintain a computer file of every gun sold. That is the law. BUT they ARE able to computerize the millions of records they already have. You lied. Does it really make any difference how many guns are in America? If the estimated number is let's say 300 million and in reality there is only 279 million OR 325 million, what difference-at this point, what difference does it make? With millions of firearms in possession of even law abiding citizens and some in the same family for decades from when no record keeping was ever kept even if ATF had records of the newer firearms there would still be millions of guns not in the computer base. But let's say you are right and every single sold from the beginning of firearms, back to the 1300's, is recorded and on computers. Tomorrow someone breaks into my home and steals 20 AR's that are all properly registered and blessed by every Liberal including Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. Sorry but no more records exist for those firearms do they? The thief that stole them from me sold them to other thieves or even Liberals like the California Congressman who was just sent to prison for illegal gun sales. You know the one I mean, I think his name is YEE. He was the biggest proponent in the California legislature of anti gun laws. Gosh, who woulda thunk it, huh? Now the records are even more meaningless. I know we all joke with you and some even call you bad names but even you can see that those records aren't worth the ink they use to print them. Sure, the police will come to me and ask if I owned these rifles and I, being a law abiding citizen will answer, Yes they do but did you not see the police report where all 20 were stolen?

Moving along. You are correct that only Cruz is responsible for the murders in Florida. But didn't I see your name under some scathing accusations toward the NRA, gun owners and Conservatives? Why then does every other Liberal on the planet (I am trying not to cast blame in your personal direction here) accuse everyone BUT Cruz. Other Liberals accuse the NRA, every other firearm owner in America, Conservatives and so on. Not one Liberal has accused Cruz. Not one Liberal has accused the failing procedures of the Broward County Sheriff, his cowardly deputies (except for two SWAT members who wanted to go to the shooting but were told not to. They have since been disciplined, the only deputies I know of on the sheriff's department who were going to do the right thing, the thing they get paid for, and they were disciplined for it), the school Superintendent and the FBI. I was right again.

Your third point about my daughter being killed or arresting some weed smoker has already been addressed. But one last point, ALL crimes are important. Some are more important and would take priority. But as you have seen from the Broward County Sheriff, his two deputies who tried to do the right thing were reprimanded for their actions. I am right again.

Please tell me somebody who the NRA protects. The NRA protects only a Constitutional amendment that gives us the right to keep and bear firearms. You should be glad they do this. Look at your fellow Liberals and their actions. Millions marched on Washington, DC carrying signs saying they wanted all firearms confiscated. What part of that don't you understand with regard to taking away my 2nd Amendment rights?

Well my friend, it would appear that nothing you said agreed with my properly and correctly written post. Always a pleasure though. Keep those smilies coming.

California did try to pass a law that would have AR type rifles collected but it never passed. Who knows, another session of the California legislature may have different results. It sure is not because nobody is trying though.

I doubt you will ever see me in a prison. The trick is to obey the law and I have done that all my life. For most lawmen the law is a way of life. You either believe in the law or you don't. I have seen a couple of ex lawmen in prison. You are right, they did not fare well.
